Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Biomedical, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Biomedical
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Hospital or Diagnostic Centre
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supporting patients by developing biomedical equipment based on the specification.
∎ To make liaison with vendor for collecting quotation of the required equipment as well as smooth procurement of this.
∎ Responsible to prepare BOQ and technical specification of the biomedical equipment.
∎ Troubleshooting and maintaining the equipment on a regular basis.
∎ Overseeing the equipment installation and operating process as demonstrate to other staff in use and safe operation.
∎ Improves equipment performance by observing machine - patient interaction, conferring with equipment users, developing modifications and collaborating with suppliers.
∎ Conducting various tests on devices and equipment.
∎ Setting up the biomedical equipment.
∎ Educating and training the team members on using the systems.
∎ Providing training to the clinicians and other personnel on how to use the equipment.
∎ Maintaining proper inventory levels and restocking them as and when needed.
∎ Preparing technical documentation on how to use the equipment.
∎ Writing reports and documents detailing procedures and policies.
∎ Complying with the rules and regulations of the company.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in Similar position in the recognized hospital will get preference.
∎ Excellent communication and organization skills.
∎ Good analytical abilities.
∎ A keen eye for details and accuracy.
∎ Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
