∎ Syngenta is looking for a responsible, mature, energetic and dedicated person for the following post of Machine Operator in production. The factory operation is agrochemical product formulation, fill and packing facility. The plant is a fast-paced 24-hour operation. Operators are responsible for ensuring that their machine and/or line safely produces quality products with high production efficiency to attain production plan. Operators are expected to exercise standard processes with an emphasis on HSE and Quality in order to achieve production attainment for optimum production performance (manpower, material and machine). Operators are expected to follow standard work processes in order to maximize the effectiveness of their equipment while always looking for opportunities to continuously improve how their machine, line, and team operates. The Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, inspection, troubleshoot and perform basic preventive maintenance on assigned machines. Operators work closely with Line Management, Supervisor, other operators, Technicians and Temporary workers on daily operations and continuous improvement projects.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
∎ Operate/monitor and maintain multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
∎ Prepare, Run and Manage Machine, Line and Team: Ability to Set-up, Start-up, Operate, Monitor, Maintain, Changeover, Cleaning, Shut-down, Shift-hand over, Troubleshoot and basic maintenance of equipment and prepare, run and manage production line and team.
∎ Execute production plans and adjust operational activities.
∎ Performing individually and in a team to attain production plan for optimum production performance (manpower, Ability to follow standard procedures, maintain machine, production line and cooperate people.
∎ Report, data capture and analyze production operation, breakdown, loss, material variance.
∎ To maintain line with cost effective way: minimum stoppage, breakdowns, loss and wastage, optimum manpower utilization.
∎ Coach your Line and teammates.
∎ Ensure 5S, good housekeeping, cleanliness and sanitation.
∎ Ensure work-place safety, perform all activity by ensuring HSE compliance at highest priority
∎ and effective communication of HSE to all team members.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 35 years
∎ 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing/factory preferably in Chemical/Pharmaceutical/FMCG industry.
∎ Experience as a Machine/Production Operator preferably in Filling & Packing machinery.
∎ Production Data capturing, calculation, reporting and analysis to attain production plan.
∎ Ability to read, understand and maintain standard operation procedures, work instructions, Checklist.
∎ Handsome experience of machine Set-up, Start-up, Operate, Monitor, Maintain, Changeover, Cleaning, Shut-down, shift-hand over, Troubleshoot and basic maintenance.
∎ Excellent communication, interpersonal and People Management skills.
∎ Ability to read and understand Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals.
∎ Experience in working in shift and with flexible timing.
∎ HSE and Quality culture
∎ Physical Stamina and Strength, perform long hour duty while standing
∎ Work Independently
∎ Multitask
∎ Ability to work in teams
