Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc (Honours) and MSc. in Library Sciences
∎ Post-graduation from Public University will get priority.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Desire to meet and serve the library's user community with special needs
∎ Knowledge of the philosophy and techniques of library service
∎ Knowledge of computers, the internet, and commercially available library software
∎ Knowledge of books and passion for reading
∎ Knowledge of library collection development and management, experience in cataloguing, budgeting and inventory planning
∎ Ability to communicate with English speaking students
∎ Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
∎ Ability to make administrative decisions, interpret policies, and supervise staff
∎ Ability to motivate, establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, associates, subordinate, students and others staff.
∎ Ability to know the methods of acquiring library materials
∎ Other Ad-hoc academic and administrative duties as needed by the authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience working at any medical college and university.

Salary:
∎ As per institutional scale.
