Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish and implement library policies and procedures.
∎ Develop, organize, and maintain library collections to meet the demands of specific user groups.
∎ Collect and catalog library resources including books, and publications.
∎ Direct and train library staffs in duties such as receiving, shelving, researching, cataloging, and equipment use.
∎ Oversee the check-in and out process for books and other resource materials.
∎ Ensure a current and accurate inventory of library materials.
∎ Respond rapidly and reliably to information requests through the use of all appropriate resources
∎ Conduct in-depth research using both online and print resources.
∎ Search standard reference materials, including online sources and the Internet, in order to answer users' reference questions.
∎ Conduct any other tasks as per requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates will get higher priority having prior job experience as a Librarian in any recognized Medical or Nursing College.
∎ He or she should have in-depth knowledge of library policies, procedures and practices.
∎ He or she should have knowledge of principles and practices of library materials acquisition.
∎ Candidates should be proficient in standard office software applications
∎ He/She should be Smart, Hardworking, Proactive, and Self-responsible with the ability to work under pressure.
