Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Engineering Industry Owners` Association (BEIOA) is the apex trade body for the development of the Light Engineering sector of the country. Established in 1984, BEIOA is engaged to continual improvement of the sector through skills enhancement, policy advocacy, assist legislation and also assisting to introducing new technologies. Since, 2015 BEIOA has been receiving grants from the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP), Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh for imparting skills development training through its project implementation unit (PIU). The objective of the training is to create a pool of skilled work force to improve the performance and product of the industry and workshops that to contribute to the development in the light engineering sector and the country as well.
∎ Report to: Coordinator- Training, Monitoring & Assessment
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall, in-charge of CNC training center and ensure trainee enrolment as per target, counseling with job placement and induction of trainees, assessment and other administrative and promotional tasks as required by to manage and run the course following the standard provided by SDCMU, SEIP
∎ Teach and demonstrate across the range of TVET programs on CAD CAM design & CNC machining and programming through updated software
∎ Impart training as per Competency Standard and develop and review the CBLM, training schedule, session plan, job sheet, etc. as per CBT&A method
∎ Conduct Theoretical and Practical classes as per training schedule according to CBT&A method
∎ Facilitate learning by the selection and development of materials and methods appropriate to trainee needs and course level according to CBT&A method
∎ Adhere to institutes guidelines including those relating to equal opportunities, health & safety, initial student testing, learning difficulties, disciplinary procedures and guidelines for using the learning center
∎ Maintain accurate and appropriate records, registers and timetables and make these available on demand to administration and external agencies.
∎ Prepare requisition for training materials and assessment questions as appropriate
∎ Conduct formative assessment and assist summative assessments as necessary as per SEIP guidelines
∎ Others assignments as assigned by the Coordinator-Training, Monitoring and Assessment, Chief Coordinator and other management authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 year(s) for BSC in Engineer and 8 years for Diploma Engineer.
∎ In-depth skills and work experience on CAD CAM Design & CNC Machine Operation.
∎ Preference will be given to candidates having relevant background, experience of working in Government Projects and CAD-CAM Design & CNC Machine Operation skills in solid works software.
∎ IT proficiency - Must be good in MS Office package (Especially Word, Excel & Power Point).
∎ Preference will be given to the candidates having CBT&A level certified and teaching experience.
Salary: Tk. 68000 (Monthly)
