Job Context:
∎ First Dhaka Elevated Expressway (FDEE) Is Bangladesh’s First Elevated Expressway Project, Which Will Connect The Shahjalal Airport With Kutubkhali Via Mohakhali, Tejgaon And Kamalapur Of Dhaka. It Is One Of The Largest Infrastructure Projects Taken Up By The Incumbent Government To Ease Traffic Congestion In The Capital.
∎ This Project required 25 no`s Lane Assistants for the operations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain the lane area safe and efficient by keeping lane area always neat, tidy and clean and ensure that no pedestrians, motorists or others stop or loiter in the lane and plaza area.
∎ Perform administrative tasks, including take measures to ensure that no vehicle passes through the toll booth without paying stipulated toll.
∎ sign off from the shift in accordance with the standard operating procedure
∎ To attend to user requirements in the lane area and attend to users where they have problems or who are causing delays.
∎ To perform regular check on all lane equipment’s.
∎ Ability to Perform Toll Collector’s function when emergency requires.
∎ To attend abnormal lane incidents to the best of abilities and Follow-up whenever required (Accident/Incident) in lane.
∎ Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
∎ Knowledge of job site safety practices required.
∎ Providing directions and road information to road users.
∎ Informing motorists of accidents on the road ahead.
∎ Reporting dangerous and illegal road users.
∎ Dispose of trash, ensure clearness.
∎ Knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, and policies relative to the traffic management.
∎ Knowledge of the maintenance of traffic equipment.
∎ Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
∎ Skill in dealing effectively with a wide variety of personalities while enforcing traffic policies and regulations.
∎ Skill in planning, organizing, assigning, and reviewing the work of workmates with particular attention to maximizing optimum use of existing resources.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Willingness to work for night shifts too.
∎ Ability to work alone for long periods.
∎ Good interpersonal skills.
∎ Knowledge of traffic management.
∎ Knowledge of national roadways and local attractions.
∎ Able to communicate in basic English .
∎ Able to use computer.
∎ Skill in interpreting and applying the administrative and operational policies and procedures.
∎ Have good communication skills and willingness to work under difficult conditions, Problem solving attitude.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationship with maturity, Excellent Relationship building skills.
