Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Laboratory Director directs, establishes and plans the overall policies and goals for the Hospital's laboratory services.
∎ Works closely with hospital staff, department heads, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality services are maintained.
∎ Write and updates procedures and manuals as needed and reviews them annually and to ensure that employees have current information needed to perform tests and procedures.
∎ Manages a department sub-function with a broader department function.
∎ Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
∎ Other duties as assigned by the higher authority.
