Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate must have Masters in Science (Pharmacy/Chemistry) or equivalent from any recognized educational institute.
∎ Candidates with BSc in Science (Pharmacy/Chemistry) can apply with substantial amount of relevant experiences.
∎ Minimum 2nd division/ Class/equivalent grade in all exams.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Laboratory Management:
∎ Supervise the daily operations of the pharmacy laboratory, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
∎ Ensure that the lab is well-maintained, clean, and organized for efficient workflow.
∎ Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and procurement of necessary supplies and materials.
∎ Personnel Management:
∎ Recruit, train, and manage laboratory staff, including researchers, technicians, and assistants.
∎ Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the team to foster a productive and collaborative work environment.
∎ Compliance and Safety:
∎ Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines, quality control standards, and safety protocols.
∎ Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
∎ Inventory Management:
∎ Maintain inventory of chemicals, reagents, and equipment, and ensure their proper storage and handling.
∎ Manage the procurement of laboratory supplies and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective solutions.
∎ Budget and Financial Management:
∎ Develop and manage the laboratory budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and allocation of resources.
∎ Monitor expenditure and make recommendations for cost-saving measures. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
∎ Maintain accurate records of experiments, procedures, and laboratory activities.
∎ Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including
∎ regulatory agencies and management.
∎ Quality Control
∎ Implement and oversee quality control procedures to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in laboratory work.
∎ Address and correct any deviations or non-conformities promptly.
∎ Communication and Collaboration:
∎ Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, such as researchers, pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory authorities.
∎ Keep management informed about the laboratory's progress and challenges
