Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate must have Diploma in Science (Pharmacy/Chemistry/Biology/Physics) or equivalent from any recognized vocational institute.
∎ Candidates with HSC (Science Group) can apply with substantial amount of relevant experiences.
∎ Minimum 2nd division/ Class/equivalent grade in all exams,
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lab Maintenance:
∎ Clean and sanitize laboratory equipment, surfaces, and glassware on a regular basis to prevent contamination and ensure a sterile environment.
∎ Monitor and manage the inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring that all necessary items are in stock.
∎ Assisting Pharmacists and Technicians:
∎ Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in their duties, such as preparing medications, compounding prescriptions, and labeling medication containers.
∎ Help in organizing and maintaining accurate records of prescriptions, medications, and inventory. Safety and Compliance:
∎ Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safe handling of medications and chemicals.
∎ Keep up to date with relevant safety standards and regulations to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
∎ Cleaning and Sterilization:
∎ Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment, including tools, glassware, and countertops.
∎ Dispose of hazardous waste and expired medications in accordance with proper disposal procedures.
∎ Organization:
∎ Maintain a well-organized workspace, ensuring that all materials and supplies are readily accessible to pharmacy staff.
∎ Label and store medications and chemicals properly to prevent confusion and contamination. Documentation:
∎ Accurately record and document any activities or tasks performed in the laboratory, including inventory updates, cleaning schedules, and equipment maintenance. Support Teamwork:
∎ Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other pharmacy staff to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy and the laboratory.
∎ Emergency Response:
∎ Be prepared to respond to emergencies or accidents in the laboratory and assist in the proper procedures as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experienced candidate will be given preference
∎ Fluent in English
∎ Sound knowledge in Computer
∎ Good Communication Skill
