Job Context:
∎ Pharmaceutical microbiologists?use analytical skills to test samples, interpret the results and make conclusions about the safety of a drug. They also use analytical skills to identify the source of contamination and determine the best course of action to resolve the issue.
∎ Job Location: Factory, Barishal
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting research on new drugs and drug reactions in order to determine their safety and effectiveness
∎ Conducting microbiological tests on pharmaceutical products such as tablets, capsules, or syrups to ensure the absence of bacteria or other microorganisms that may pose a health risk to consumers
∎ Recording data about each step of the testing process for future reference
∎ Evaluating the effectiveness of new antimicrobial agents in combating drug-resistant microbes
∎ Identifying microbes in samples using techniques such as staining, culturing, and DNA analysis
∎ Maintaining a safe work environment by following standard practices regarding the use of sterilization procedures and protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and lab coats
∎ Ensure that equipments of microbiology test are running as per SOP.
∎ Ensure that microbiology Lab. is clean and tidy.
∎ Perform microbiology test (Sterility, Bio Burden, Bio – assay, Preservative efficacy test, Media fill validation etc.)
∎ Perform the bacterial endotoxin test (LAL or pyrogen)
∎ Perform analytical work, of products and materials where bacterial endotoxin or pyrogen test, bacterial count are applicable.
∎ Perform particle count, air sample test, air flow test, swab test, gear test and filter integrity test etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Fresh or Minimum 01 year related experience
∎ Able to knowledgeably and safely handle hazardous chemicals
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Ability to work as a team member
∎ Ability to understand and comply with GMP
∎ Smart, energetic and innovative
