Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS with MD/M Phil/FCPS/MCPS/DCP/D Bact in Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Haematology, Microbiology and Chemical Pathology with updated BMDC registration.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have adequate functional knowledge of Paediatric Haematology, Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology; so as to correctly identify immature blood (Blast) cells, calculate I/T ratio for newborns, as well as diagnose Leukaemia/s, other malignancies. Adept in interpreting CBC parameters, & confident in PBF (Peripheral Blood Film) study with interpretations (Both paediatric & adult cases).
∎ To maintain a harmonious relationship with all senior & junior clinical staff.
∎ Supervise & manage activities in all sections of Pathology.
∎ Ensure internal quality control, by running QCs routinely.
∎ Ensure up-to-date knowledge & proficiency of all laboratory staff. Formulate programs to arrange internal supervised training.
∎ Volunteer in preparing relevant policy & SOPs (Standing Order Procedures).

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 05 (Five) years as a Pathologist.
∎ However, work experience requirements may be relaxed for promising, young, energetic & qualified (Academically) candidates.
