∎ We are looking for a Junior Consultant for Cardiology Department to join our team of medical professionals. S/he will work with patients to provide treatment and ensure fitness for ophthalmic surgeries. S/he will perform various tests, make diagnoses, provide ophthalmic treatment plans and options, and work with other physicians and surgeons to treat patients` heart and/or cardiovascular disorders.

∎ To be successful as a cardiologist, s/he will need to make important decisions regarding his/her patients` care and be emotionally resilient in challenging medical situations. The ability to work and collaborate with Anesthesiologist and other Surgeons, in a complex and diverse environment, is also a necessity.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
∎ Identify the cardiac diseases regarding his/her fitness for ophthalmic surgeries through the appropriate tests, diagnoses, etc.
∎ Interpreting cardiac test results to determine the suitability for ophthalmic surgeries.
∎ Provide appropriate advice in taking cardiac care in line with the appropriateness of ophthalmic treatment and surgeries.
∎ Have excellent knowledge and skills in diagnosing and managing diseases of general medicine.
∎ Classifying and managing diabetes and endocrine disorders
∎ Good knowledge and skills in diagnosing and managing liver and hepato-biliary diseases
∎ Identifying kidney diseases and urological problems
∎ Diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases
∎ Skills in diagnosing and managing communicable and non-communicable diseases
∎ Good understanding of chest diseases and tropical medicine
∎ Training and providing educational support to junior staff, when necessary.
∎ Performing any other departmental tasks as and when necessary by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years of experience in Medicine & Cardiology
∎ Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) and teamwork (working ability in the multi-disciplinary team).
∎ IT savvy and professional skills in MS Office.
