Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supply Chain Planning: Support production goals and business objectives. Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand.
∎ Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and spair parts.
∎ Logistics Coordination: Oversee the logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
∎ Production Coordination: Work closely with production & maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes. Address and resolve any supply chain disruptions or delays.
∎ Reporting: Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management on key performance indicators, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks.
∎ Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain the high standards of materials and finished products.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain processes. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
