Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and servicing of generators, ensuring that all electrical components are functioning correctly.
∎ Monitor and log operational parameters, such as voltage, current, fuel consumption, and running hours, to identify potential issues early.
∎ Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and company guideline.
∎ Diagnose electrical issues with generator systems, including control panels, wiring, circuit breakers and alternator.
∎ Repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal generator performance and longevity.
∎ Conduct regular testing of generator systems, including load testing and operational readiness.
∎ Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety protocols to prevent accidents or electrical hazards.
∎ Assist senior engineers with large-scale repairs, installations, or upgrades of electrical systems as required.
∎
