Job Context:
∎ This position reports to Group Director and supports industrial engineering practices within the Globe Pharmaceuticals Group of companies. The incumbent will need to travel within the country and work flexible hours. The role will require onsite data collection and support various business initiatives, projects and process change.
∎ Location: Narayangonj (primary)
∎

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop MRP (Material Requirement Planning) based production planning in coordination with Marketing & Sales and Procurement (Commercial) team.
∎ Initiate and drive process improvement initiatives to reduce waste, minimize cost and resolve critical business issues.
∎ Develop preventative maintenance program in coordination with Engineering Team, measure equipment performance and report to management.
∎ Support digital transformation activities (exp. ERP implementation) to streamline sourcing, production, maintenance, and distribution process.
∎ Responsible for production planning, Lean manufacturing, machine maintenance, and digital transformation activities (ERP implementation).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5-8 years of experience in production planning, Lean manufacturing, machine maintenance, digital transformation activities (ERP implementation); preferably in the FMCG or Pharmaceuticals industry
∎ Must be able to work independently as well as lead a team.
∎ Must be able to deal effectively and communicate with all levels of management and colleagues.
∎ Ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences and train others.
∎ Be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and be able to prioritize effectively.
∎ Must be willing to travel across the country (primary work location: Narayangonj, secondary: Noakhali) as required.
∎ Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
∎ Key Skills:
∎ Production Planning & Inventory management (Material Requirement Planning, Bill of Materials, Distribution Requirement Planning, Cycle Inventory, Safety Inventory)
∎ Project Management on Lean improvement initiatives (Kanban, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, JIT etc.)
∎ Knowledge of Mechanical and Electronic systems and their repair and maintenance
∎ Experience with ERP systems, especially as part of ERP implementation project/team
