∎ Planning skills, Risk management skills, Combination skills.
∎ The applicants should have experience in related field and position.
∎ Fluency in software programs related to construction management, including project management software (AutoCAD Civil 2D/3D, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel etc.).
∎ Good written and oral communication skills in both English & Bangla.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct engineering surveys for the selected road.
∎ Assess the work activities for which labor-based construction methods are appropriate and for those sections for which heavy machinery is appropriate, establish a cost estimate for the rehabilitation and construction works for roads & bridges.
∎ Arrange necessary equipment, and keeping construction project costs at or, if possible, under budget.
∎ Highway Engineer is responsible for the projects from beginning to end.Make any necessary changes to the design drawings as per the site conditions.
∎ Supervise contractors on site, ensuring that the works meet the highest standards.
∎ Review the work programmers, resource, schedule and project implementation plans and ensure that the contractors/site supervisors comply with their work plans and complete the work within the specified time frame.
∎ Lead the execution team of highway construction and maintenance projects.
∎ Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
∎ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, contractors, and project managers.
∎ Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues promptly.
∎ Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
∎ Any other job as per management's requirement.
