Educational Requirements:
∎ Marine Diploma/Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or Graduate in Petroleum & mining Engineering from any public University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Age: Not more than 40 years.
∎ Candidates should be physically fit to perform fuel handling responsibilities in outdoor work situation for long time standing position and in bad weather condition.
∎ Capable of measuring the fuel lorries physically and with measuring equipment, climbing over the lorry and on fuel storage tank.
∎ Candidates need to travel frequently to Chattagram or any other places for receiving HFO and inspecting the HFO supply company.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capable of unload HFO from ships/tanker/lorries/shore storage tank
∎ Capable of measuring fuel correctly basing on the standard temperature, Viscosity and mathematical calculation.
∎ Capable of taking adequate steps to stop fuel pilferage/short falls.
∎ Capable of keeping correct records of fuel using log/format/documents
∎ Capable of inspecting/monitoring fuel tank/lorries and preparation of fuel reports
∎ Developing of fuel receiving programe/schedule including fuel consumption calculation.
∎ Capable of maintening good liaison with managerial and technical staffs.
∎ Capable of identify fuel contamination
∎ Ability to handle manpower and drivers
∎ Capable of ensuring fuel safety system both in loaded lorry and in fuel tank
∎ Capable to ensure quality control of the HFO.
∎ Capable calculating HFO/fuel in lorry/tanker/storage tank
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 or 6 years experience in fuel bunkering from mother vessel to shore tank and tank to truck lorry/storage tank.
∎ Having good knowledge about fuel calibration system by C cf, W cf, density etc.
∎ Having good knowledge about hydro-meter, sampler, thermo-meter
∎ Having experience on night time fuel unloading in ship to tank or tank to truck lorry
∎ Having good knowledge about HFO properties and others
∎ Having experience on monthly bunkering report, gain, loss etc.
∎ Having knowledge on fuel safety, policies and procedures
∎ Experience in using all kinds of equipments related to fuel measurement, test and consumption.
∎ Candidate having knowledge on supply chain operation system will be given extra preference.
Salary: Negotiable
