Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial/ Purchase, Purchase/ Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Retail Store, Super store, Wholesale

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
∎ Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
∎ Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
∎ Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
∎ Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
∎ Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
∎ Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
∎ Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
∎ Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
∎ Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
∎ Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
∎ Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
∎ Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
∎ Oversee inventory procedures
∎ Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
∎ Evaluate vendor operations according to quality standards
∎ Help foster trusting relationships with business partners

Additional Requirements:
∎ SCM professionals from Agora, Meena Bazar, Shwapno will get preference.
∎ Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst / Head of Supply Chain
∎ Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
∎ Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g.inventory planning, warehouse management)
∎ Analytical mind with business acumen
∎ Problem-solving aptitude and Attention to detail
∎ Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
∎ Talent in negotiations and networking
∎ Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
∎ Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
∎ Experience in collecting and analyzing data
