∎ Minimum 2-5 years of experience is required in Supply Chain Planning/ Demand Planning/ Procurement/ Commercial.
∎ Technical understanding of all Supply Chain Department fundamentals, in all functional areas: Planning, Procurement or Raw & Packing Materials, Inventory, Logistics etc.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
∎ Excellent communication skills (both in written and spoken). Planning Skill.
∎ Analytical Skill.
∎ Candidates have to frequent travel mentality.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of materials to support the organization's operations based on forecast or business needs.
∎ Accountable to prepare supporting documents for supply plan, identify potential sources, negotiate for competitive advantage and best price, and execute procurement as per company policy and procedure.
∎ Assist to achieve a balance between five parameters (5 R’s of procurement) - obtain materials with “Right Quality” at “Right Quantity” to “Right Place” in “Right Time” at “Right Price”.
∎ Analyze forecast and stock level to prepare accurate procurement plan incorporating inventory norms as per company policy.
∎ Assess inventory level and prioritize requisitions based on operational urgency and process for procurement accordingly.
∎ Assist to conduct market research to stay up to date on industry trends and changes in procurement regulations and law.
∎ Contribute in developing alternate sources to build comprehensive supplier base to minimize the supply chain risk and ensure competitive advantage.
∎ Monitoring on key indicators of procurement activities (e.g. sourcing follow-up, and negotiation, critical path, shipment timing, sampling performance, conformity assurance etc.).
∎ Managing supplier relationships through regular communication and periodic performance evaluations.
∎ Assist in monitoring with C&F and factory to confirm on time delivery from port to ensure to incur zero/ minimum demurrage.
