Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from BUET.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Civil Engineering, Planning and organizing, Project and Risk Management, Project Management/ Co-ordinator, Real Estate project Development
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Developer, Real Estate

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop a balanced team to create a brand in the Real Estate business.
∎ Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating of all projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget
∎ Create and implement best practice engineering and project management strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to meet business objectives
∎ Develop and monitor project performance against strategies and plans & take action as necessary to ensure achievement of goals and objective
∎ Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and training to the team, enabling them to achieve functional and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles
∎ Analyzing and planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones in the projects in order to mitigate risks
∎ Make sure that construction standards are of high quality and also ensure the use of proper construction techniques.
∎ Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists and assist to hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers, and coordinating their schedules
∎ Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
∎ Maintain liaison with Government & autonomous body
∎ Ensuring the project complies with all legal requirements.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 45 years
∎ Sound understanding of architectural drawing & design and technical knowledge of the Civil Construction Industries.
∎ Good decision-making skills, as to enable a director of construction to make effective plans and decisions to avoid problems, as well as solve emerging ones.
∎ Good physical strength and stamina may be required to move from one place to another on the construction site and also endure long hours of work.
∎ Excellent project management skills.
∎ Good knowledge of the materials of Real Estate/Apartment Business.

Salary: Negotiable
