∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field; highly experienced Diploma Engineering holders are also encouraged to apply.
∎ Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in industries such as Plastic & Polymer, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, Packaging, or Garment Manufacturing.
∎ Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with expertise in troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
∎ Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of maintenance professionals.
∎ Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Estimate maintenance requirements, place requisitions, and coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely acquisition of necessary materials and spare parts.
∎ Provide technical expertise and support to the purchasing team by offering guidance on equipment specifications, assisting in selecting the right parts, and ensuring the suitability and quality of purchased components.
∎ Supervise and monitor the repair, installation, and commissioning of both old and new machinery to ensure optimal functionality and adherence to safety standards.
∎ Collaborate closely with the client’s production department to streamline processes and ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
∎ Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, including equipment history, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
∎ Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of competency and productivity.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements relevant to machinery maintenance, incorporating best practices into maintenance strategies.
∎ Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the maintenance department, contributing to overall operational efficiency and profitability.
∎ Represent the maintenance department in meetings, discussions, and strategic planning sessions, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support organizational goals.
