Depot Distribution, Distribution Hub, Distribution Software, Distribution/ Supply Chain Management, Factory Logistics operation, Logistics Distribution, Logistics Management, Transport and Distribution
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG), Pharmaceuticals
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
∎ Use the IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and track the movement of goods/vehicle
∎ Co-ordinate properly to control the order cycle and develop new strategies to streamline processes, and reduce cost
∎ Make plans for new depots when necessary to optimize the delivery system and reduce cost
∎ Develop and confirm distribution schedules and routes on a monthly basis
∎ Ensure that inventory flow is maintained strictly following Batch Tracking, First Expiry First Out (FEFO), and First In First Out (FIFO) basis to ensure batch traceability
∎ Manage and allocate staff resources according to needs; liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers
∎ Analyze logistical problems and produce new solutions, and develop business by gaining new contracts
∎ Assist in hiring, training, supervising staff, and developing logistics staff and motivate other members of the team
∎ Set, measure, and monitor KPIs to assess the success of transportation and distribution services
∎ Maintain stock register and the vehicle log book and monitor the movement of all categories of inbound and outbound
∎ Drive overall depot functions e.g. distribution, logistics, transportation, and store management as well as the security of the depots
∎ Keep records (hard copy/softcopy) of all important files/policies for future reference
∎ Set objectives, make plans, and manage projects
∎ Perform any relevant task assigned by the Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 38 to 50 years
∎ Excellent communication skills both in written & spoken English
∎ Good command in computer applications & presentation skills
∎ Ability to meet the deadline despite all obstacles
∎ Dynamic and self-motivated with high personal integrity and loyalty
∎ Possesses very good interpersonal and organizing skills with leadership quality
∎ Negotiation skills & quick decision-making skills
∎ Thorough and effective analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Capable to handle stressful situations at any time when occurred
