Import, Import Business.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Freight forwarding
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop operations strategy in order to meet strategic goals;
∎ Meet budgets for Import Operations & Sales team;
∎ Maintain & improve GP margin according to Business Unit strategic objectives;
∎ Management of the Imports team in line with the organizational strategy;
∎ Active budget planning and steering of budget achievement;
∎ Initiate and steer the development of measures in order to:
∎ Develop the import business and trade lane development (GP, GP margin, EBT);
∎ Maintain and improve operational process efficiency & quality;
∎ Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations and standards (e.g. Customs, Dangerous goods, Code of Conduct, etc.) within the function;
∎ Monitoring the sales performance of the Import Sales team;
∎ Perform yield management;
∎ Ensuring smooth collection of Revenue within the time frame.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ People Management Experience;
∎ Business Development and Client Management Experience;
∎ Knowledge in Import Laws, Rules, Regulations and Airport & Sea Port Management.
