Job Context:
∎ BD Thai Cosmo Ltd. (A Sister Concern of BD Thai Group) was incorporated in 2012 with the most important slogan for the company "Let there be light". We are looking for potential candidates to enhance the growth of the company.
∎ Job Location: Nabagram, Dhamrai, Dhaka.
∎ Head Office Location: Banani, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist with developing procedures and driving continuous improvement throughout all departmental operations by focusing on safety, production goals, problem-solving, and team-building.
∎ Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
∎ Receive guidance from the General Manager and HR in handling sensitive employee situations, such as performance issues, absenteeism, etc.
∎ Ensure standards are achieved for all packages shipped and items received in the facility.
∎ Ability to provide leadership, support, and guidance to Factory team members.
∎ Improve operational efficiencies by maximizing departmental synergies through fostering a "one team" environment with all working units within the facility.
∎ Meet on a consistent basis with the assigned Department Heads for quality results and clarity of communication to review activity, budget reports, planning needs, projects, personnel, key obstacles, and reasons for celebration
∎ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, tenants, employees, contractors, the general public as well as key stakeholders.
∎ Ensure all codes, laws, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules, regulations, and emergency procedures are followed.
∎ Conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions for staff.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8-10 years of experience in FMCG and Factory operations.
∎ Good knowledge of computer operations.
∎ Experience in Lighting Manufacturing (Factory) is an added advantage.
Salary: Negotiable
