Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree in business, marketing, or related discipline. Requires direct marketing/sales experience in e-commerce or related industry. A master's degree in marketing will be preferable.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead Category Development, Category management and Sourcing and Procurement Teams to keep them outcome driven. Oversee development of local policies, procedures and strategic objectives for category development and sales through our e-commerce marketplace.
∎ Ensure the translation of the Sales & Marketing strategy into business targets, budgets and tangible plans for every major category like fashion, electronics, FMCG, beauty and health, automotive, lifestyle etc.
∎ Develop and execute of the business' commercialization strategies (short and long term) to achieve the business growth objectives of categories.
∎ Oversee provision of market intelligence to support strategic business decisions gained through monitoring competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
∎ Developing existing categories to break into new markets or enhance existing market reach and value agenda.
∎ Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
∎ Overseeing the activities of onboarding new vendors/supplier/brand etc. to expand business opportunities.
∎ Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
∎ Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
∎ Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
∎ Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility
∎ Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
∎ Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
∎ Help teams manage the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
∎ Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
∎ Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
∎ Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
∎ Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
∎ Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
∎ Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
∎ Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Additional Requirements:
∎ A broad and international experience and a proven track record within B2B and B2R Sales & Marketing.
∎ Trustworthy, ambitious, and able to work highly independently and in teams.
