Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operational/ Functional/ Business:
∎ Formulate and roll out the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and strategies for the Commercial functions in partnership with Marketing & Retail Operations that will deliver short and long term goals.
∎ Deliver category performance to agreed KPI's,
∎
∎ Sales
∎ GP (Gross Profit)
∎ Supplier management & quality product availability
∎
∎ Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities for expansion, business development.
∎ Lead strategic backward integration to ensure smart buying terms, conditions, and services to Agora are the best sustainable position.
∎ Understand the requirements of existing customers and act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships.
∎ Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.)
∎ Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders aligning with the company's vision.
∎ Monitor performance of commercial activities and drive category wise profitability
∎ Design & develop store layout, planogram, and merchandising concepts for profitable dealings on proper space utilization.
∎ Drive effective promotions for the categories that will support revenues & GP growth
∎ Supervise staff by setting clear objectives, action plans, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and pushing for result achievement.
∎ To evaluate and continual improvement in the commercial process (SOPs/Manuals/QMS) & system activities.

∎ Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
∎ In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
∎ Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
∎ Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mind-set
∎ Excellent organizational and leadership skills
∎ Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
∎ Experienced in planning & driving E-commerce related activities will be an added advantage.
