Job Responsibilities:
∎ Excellent in negotiation skills and technical expertise in Construction works
∎ Monitor the business trend and general availability of construction materials to source the materials at best price.
∎ Identify and researches new suppliers with attractive price
∎ Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals
∎ Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing and distributing goods & services and maintaining stock and reorder levels
∎ Liaising with Construction Management and design team to determine their product and service needs
∎ Prepare all Procurement activities including prequalification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender managements.
∎ Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
∎ Collaborate with management in the negotiation of contracts and line of credit with suppliers & subcontractors
∎ Periodical analysis of Cost Vs Budget of materials and report the same to management.
∎ Regular update of construction materials and inform management about new technology & materials introduced in the construction Industry.
∎ Identify human resource requirement for the department according to the HR Planning best practices and market norms
∎ Recommend appropriate development and training plan for subordinates and evaluating their effectiveness

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Minimum 10 years in construction industry including township project. Candidate having 2 to 3 years work experience in Gulf countries is preferable.
∎ Should have same level of experience in working with mega construction project.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the subordinates
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a time-frame
∎ Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
