∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To collection of soil samples from the project's intended site, using bores and test pits. Amongst other factors, the analysis will determine the ground's stress bearing capability and stability.
∎ To test soil quality and stress-bearing factors, geotechnical engineers must determine whether issues like erosion, settlement and slope will pose a safety risk to the proposed project.
∎ Able to analyze the results of subsurface investigations and field tests with dedicated software. Your ability to understand data and model future conditions will be crucial to the development of the construction project.
∎ To assist in the development of earthworks and foundations suitable to the conditions of the site.
∎ Your regular duty is to meet with project team for evaluations and progress.
∎ You need to spend most of your time in the field. The job involves lots of travel and plenty of strict deadlines - and work in most weather conditions.
∎ You should be inquisitive, motivated and dedicated but will also require formal and trained.
∎ You will have to deal with new equipment, updated safety regulations and other factors.
∎ Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute detailed phases of geotechnical & geophysical investigations, testing programs, instrumentation programs, and other technical work.
∎ Provide direction to and mentoring to other technical staff in completing project tasks.
∎ Interface with Client need, government regulators, other consultants & contractors, and other stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 42 years
∎ Geotechnical engineering is multi-disciplinary. You'll be expected to have a working knowledge of a number of engineering fields - including ocean engineering, structural and civil engineering, petroleum engineering and material science. The information and research data which you'll be expected to deal with can be varied, complex and demanding - in addition to the engineering duties, geotechnical engineers are mathematicians, technicians and scientists.
∎ Plan and coordinate geotechnical & geophysical investigations, instrumentation programs, and in-situ & laboratory testing programs (soils & rock, coal combustion residuals/byproducts, mine tailings, construction materials, geosynthetics).
∎ Characterize material properties for geotechnical modeling, analyses and design.
∎ Originate geotechnical analyses and designs for dams (earth, coal ash, coal refuse and mine tailings), cofferdams, traditional & specialty geo-structures, deep foundations, and ground improvement programs.
∎ Experience in deterministic & probabilistic seismic hazard analysis (DSHA, PSHA) is a plus.
∎ Numerical modeling employing public domain software such as the GeoStudio and/or SVOffice geotechnical software suites
∎ They have the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to work in varying conditions.
∎ Females and Males both are allowed to apply

∎ Good in English- writing and Speaking is must
∎ Chinese speaker will get preference.
