∎ Managing large-scale security operations, preferably in land development or construction projects.
∎ Experience in Safety & Security department of a reputed organization.
∎ Good communication & interpersonal skills.
∎ Good knowledge on security management and hazards.
∎ Strong analytical skills & very proactive in nature.
∎ Ability to priorities and plan effectively.
∎ Command & control, Leadership skills & Physically fit.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The General Manager - Security is responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations for the land project. This includes developing and implementing security policies, managing security personnel, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, and ensuring the safety and security of the project's assets, personnel, and visitors. The role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of security management, risk assessment, and crisis response. Retired army (Major/Lt. Col) will get preference.
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the land project.
∎ Regularly review and update security protocols to adapt to evolving threats and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
∎ Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
∎ Develop and oversee implementation of mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
∎ Prepare and maintain contingency and emergency response plans.
∎ Oversee daily security operations to ensure a secure environment for all stakeholders.
∎ Manage and coordinate activities of the security team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
∎ Implement and monitor access control systems, surveillance systems, and other security technologies.
∎ Lead the response to security incidents, ensuring appropriate and timely action is taken.
∎ Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during emergencies to manage and resolve situations effectively.
∎ Conduct post-incident analysis and reporting to identify lessons learned and improve future responses.
∎ Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant agencies to enhance security measures.
∎ Maintain effective communication with project managers, employees, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding security issues and protocols.
∎ Develop and manage the security budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
∎ Monitor and control expenditure, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high security standards.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to security.
∎ Prepare regular reports on security status, incidents, and performance metrics for senior management.
