Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage logistics, customs clearance, and international shipping processes.
∎ Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion.
∎ Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control across operations.
∎ Ensure profitability through efficient operations and managing expenses.
∎ Lead and train teams across different departments (logistics, customer service, finance).
∎ Evaluate employee performance and foster a productive work environment.
∎ Ensure high customer satisfaction by managing service quality and handling complaints.
∎ Develop customer retention strategies and expand client base.
∎ Ensure compliance with all customs regulations, international trade laws, and company policies.
∎ Address and manage operational risks in shipping and logistics.Oversee courier tracking systems, digital platforms, and IT infrastructure.
∎ Implement technological improvements for better operational efficiency.
∎ Logistics & Supply Chain:
∎ The GM ensures smooth logistics from China to Bangladesh, handling international shipments, customs, and local deliveries.
∎ Regulatory Compliance:
∎ Compliance with both Chinese and Bangladeshi customs regulations and international trade laws is a critical part of the GM role.
∎ Operational Efficiency:
∎ Managing the efficiency of each link in the courier chain, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
