Job Context:
∎ Safar Rice Mill Ltd. is a sister concern of Safar Group and going to set up a Rice Mill at Khajanagar, Kushtia and seek potential candidate as a General Manager to carry out business on behalf of the company.
∎ The candidate must have extensive knowledge on the paddy market of Bangladesh and should have proven record of sales and marketing of finished paddy products.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should work as the key person to co-ordinate among procurement, production, sales and marketing team.
∎ Prepare annual plan and yearly budget for procurement of raw material.
∎ Monitor the market daily and communicate with the management to prepare the future business plan and implement it.
∎ Establish a proper marketing channel with the local farmers as well as local markets for procurement of paddy and sales of finished goods.
∎ Liaising with the Government Authority and ensuring company sales.
∎ Provide technical or any other support to the dealers regarding sales.
∎ Development of new clients and maintain good relationships with existing clients.
∎ Able to handle clients and satisfy them with set service policies of the organization.
∎ Execute all marketing activities as per the set plan of the organization.
∎ Develop and implement Area wise Monthly Sales Plan.
∎ Prepare Daily, Weekly, Monthly Customer-wise Sales Report.
∎ Responsible for ensuring that the mill runs efficiently.
∎ Ensure that quality control is maintained.
∎ Responsible for maintaining production.
∎ Coordination of daily operations on the floor of the mill by allocating tasks.
∎ Supervises mill workers and is responsible for their performance.
∎ Ensures that the mill production machines are in good working condition, and schedule and conduct preventive maintenance.
∎ Ensures on-time payment of all invoices.
∎ Corrects whatever faults are found during the milling process and ensuring that the customer has a better finished product according to the stated requirements.
∎ Carries out store operational requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Candidate must have experience of operation of an Auto Rice Mill.
∎ Candidate must have adequate knowledge of the machinery in Auto Rice Mill.
∎ Candidate must be able to lead the team and operate the business.
∎ Should have good communication skill in both Bangla and English.
∎ Should be sound in MS Office applications.
∎ Age above 35 yrs.
∎ Candidates must have proven experience of sales and marketing related to Rice Mill
∎ Educational Qualifications can be relaxed in case of highly experienced candidates.
