Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed university.

• A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.

• Professional certifications in Project Management, PMP, or relevant construction disciplines will be preferred.

The General Manager will be responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for the housing project, ensuring successful execution in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements and necessary communication/contacts with foreign partners.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of substantial experience in civil construction area.

• Provide overall strategic, technical, and operational leadership for the housing development project.

• Lead all project phases, including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

• Manage project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and cost control to ensure timely delivery.

• Coordinate with the Chinese JV/technical partner, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.

• Review and approve designs, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and construction methodologies.

• Supervise project teams and monitor construction progress, quality, and regulatory compliance.

• Manage contracts, procurement, project risks, variations, claims, and cost overruns.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh building codes, environmental regulations, and HSE standards.

• Report project progress, key risks, and strategic recommendations to top management.

• Ensure successful project completion and timely handover in line with approved requirements.
