Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mentor and provide strategic directions to several teams across finance, treasury and accounting.
∎ Provided strategic direction to meet the business objectives of the organization handled P&L and budget analyst.
∎ Formulate and implement financial strategy & cash flow management functions for the new retail format.
∎ Monitor and analyze monthly results against budget and drove performance in many countries successfully.
∎ Spearheaded Several activates that include business planning driving performance management of all business operations with key locus on profitability.
∎ Responsible for supervising Group financial reporting & consolidation activities.
∎ Imparted training to different members of the team on ERP automation and VAT implementation Accomplished the Go live of the entire GCC worked closely with auditors and tax consultants.
∎ Worked extensively as second in command for Group CEO. Provided strategic directions on financial policies, investment decisions, asset acquisition, procurement and IT to meet business goals.
∎ To handle a spectrum of functions that include general ledger, AR, AP cash flow forecast and management trust receipts of various banks revamped banking arrangements, raised finance for projects and working capital at best terms.
∎ Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis, and Management Reporting.
∎ Ensure prepare Project Projection, Proposal Ready, Foreign loan Financial Analysis.
∎ Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to drive profitability and optimize financial performance.
∎ Cash management activities that include banking relationship cash flow activities and cash forecasting functions including foreign exchange, risk management and related financing strategies.
∎ Effective cash flow management through working capital minimization and control, capex, financial control management, capital employed and leverage ratio strategies.
∎ Conducted quarterly detailed balance sheet review to identify risk and opportunities reviewed and drafted commercial and legal contracts in liaison with legal consultants.
