Job Context:
∎ Job Title : Fishing Engineer
∎ Department : Fishing & Re-entry
∎ Reporting To : General Manager
∎ Main Objective of Role:
∎ Carry out fishing operations on offshore/onshore or rig/oil well locations
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Successfully perform cased hole, open hole fishing jobs awarded to Parker Wellbore worldwide
∎ Successfully perform deviation/casing exit jobs awarded to Parker Wellbore
∎ Undertake offshore/onshore related activities (Running motors, under reamer Borehole enlargement tools.)
∎ Provide/generate detailed job reports and utilization sheets of fishing activities upon completion of every job
∎ Take general and operational sales calls/enquiries and follow ups as well as assist the sales team in any sales related activities.
∎ Impart training and knowledge to Parker Wellbore fishing team and groups
∎ Abide by the company systems and procedures(Legal & QHSE)
∎ Any further duties as requested by the direct Manager/Supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have at least 10 years working experience.
∎ Knowledge about all fishing tools(Operation Service and maintenance)
∎ External catch, internal catch, remedial & repair tools, junk catching retrieving tools, milling &cutting including plug and abandonment fishing accessories, deviation tools(casing exit and open hole exit)tools, back off tools etc.
∎ General knowledge of drilling exploration and completion (Up, Mid & Downstream of oil exploration activity)
∎ Fishing Tool systems and procedures (Reporting, computer knowledge, pricing etc.)
∎ Excellent exposure to QHSE/API plus DS1 systems and procedures
∎ Medical Fitness
∎ Administrative Skills:
∎ Good attitude with a strong ethical personality
∎ A good team player
∎ Self-motivated
∎ Good liaison with people of all ethnic backgrounds
∎ Good all round personal presentation in stature and use of written and verbal communication in English and preferably Arabic.
∎ HSEQ System Requirements:
∎ ITS operates an Integrated Management System (IMS) at all operational facilities to meet their business, legal and moral HSEQ obligations. All personnel are required to work in full compliance with the requirements set out in the ITS Group IMS, this will include as a minimum.
∎ Ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with company Quality, Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
∎ Not undertaking any task for which authorization and/or training has not been given.
∎ Ensuring the highest standard of workmanship produced is in accordance with the company expectations and as per customer, regulatory standards and specification.
∎ Promoting good health, safety and environmental practices throughout all company activities.
∎ Wearing the assigned Personal Protective Equipment required.
∎ Taking care to prevent harm to themselves, colleagues and others and the environment that may be caused by our acts or omissions.
∎ Keeping the work area neat, organized & free of trip and other hazards.
∎ Reporting hazards in plant, equipment and other work place, or short comings in the existing controls, to a superior without delay.
∎ Supporting continual improvement of the integrated management system by expressing better and safer ways to perform tasks and improve policies and procedures.
∎ Participate in HSEQ training required to meet minimum identified for position undertaken
∎ Attending Toolbox Talks, HSEQ meetings and trainings as and when required.
∎ HSEQ Authority:
∎ To report any unsafe behaviors to their immediate Supervisor or Safety representative. Where there may be conflict report directly to facility HSEQ Manager.
∎ Authority on HSEQ grounds to stop operations or delivery of product on the existence of an immediate risk of harm to personnel or environmental pollution and damage to property.
