Job Context:
∎ KDS Logistics ltd., the logistics wing of KDS Group, situated in Chattogram, has been leading the ICD/ OFF DOCK industry since long with the best in-class services to its clients. We are looking for a young, well skilled, dynamic and proactive person to perform the role of a Fire Safety Engineer.
∎ Job location: Ghoramara, Sonaichari, Sitakunda, Chittagong-4318, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identifying possible fire-related risks and reducing or eliminating them.
∎ Making designs, calculations, sketched and/or diagrams to help prevent fire or fire spread.
∎ Ensures the entire depot premise has zero fire threat.
∎ Prepare checklists to check equipment such as detectors, fire hydrant, fire doors, firefighting equipment etc. as well as check them regularly.
∎ Prepares and executes fire & safety plan for the entire depot.
∎ Creates fire team within organization (both employees & workers) and conduct regular fire drill as well as other fire related training.
∎ Conducts fire and emergency evacuation drill and exercise to aware employees/workers in the event of any fire or emergency incident.
∎ Identifies probable fire hazard areas and takes preventive measures on urgent basis.
∎ Communicates with various section of the company to aware regarding probable fire threat and takes leadership to solve them instantly.
∎ Keep record of each fire related activity and present it to the Management on daily basis.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Good communication skills in native and international language.
∎ Should be people oriented.
∎ Must be energetic.
∎ At-least 02 (Two) years of experience in related field.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Fire Safety Management, Garments and Textile.
