∎ Preferred Professional Certification: PGD in supply chain
∎ Skills Required: Excel, including Word, Material Management, proficiency in microsoft office, SCM, Sourcing
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Export , At least 3 years progressive experience in management of materials, Bond, Computer skill, Export/ Import through L/C, Purchase/ Procurement
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Medical Equipment, Multinational Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure material incorporation to system and budget are in place to enable
∎ operational and production continuity. Working closely with internal customer to ensure on time
∎ material availability to satisfy production requirements.
∎ Ensure all raw materials codification is done in material planning system and reviewed periodically
∎ Co-ordinate with New products development, Quality and Production team to include the new and
∎ revised raw materials in the system.
∎ Ensure the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory accuracy at all times and manage and
∎ control inventory levels and movements.
∎ Take ownership of material planning issues that arise, including over or under delivery and take any
∎ follow up actions especially in the event of material shortages that affect production.
∎ Manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place.
∎ Seek and recommend solutions to overcome issues arising in order to meet production
∎ requirements due to raw material shortages and address operational risks.
∎ Ensure that Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or IT system in maintained effective and
∎ that data is accurate and up to date and resolve issues, if any. Investigate and implement systems in
∎ place to improve the material planning accuracies.
∎ Perform analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts and historical material usage to develop and
∎ execute effective material planning system.
∎ Take overall responsibility for obsolete parts process and ensure business is left with minimum
∎ liability and minimal waste
∎ Lead and support the activities with external parties as well government offices such as Customs,
∎ Bond, Banks, Clearing and Forwarding agents, Logistic partners, Courier services etc for required
∎ paperwork.
∎ Visit external parties and or government offices for pursuing the paperwork for Bond inclusion,
∎ Capacity expansion, Bond License renewal, Customs clearances, TT/ LCA payments, Post sales
∎ operations, and other related works.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Maintain and provide current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends.
∎ Identify tools, processes and metrics to optimize supplier value.
∎ Leads by example and motivates people so as to create a challenging, empowering, and collaborative
∎ working environment.
∎ Good technical writing, documentation, and record keeping skills.
∎ Good analytical problem solving solving ability.
∎ Ability to contribute in a cross functional collaborative environment.
∎ Financial skills including cost modeling, cost analysis, make vs. buy analysis.
∎ Ability to leverage metrics and other tools to drive supplier performance.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)
∎ Negotiable based on Experience.
