Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA / Master Degree in any discipline from any reputed Public/ Private University. Professional degree in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
∎ Skills Required: Export/ Import through L/C

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial, Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Paper

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Procurement of industrial machinery, spare parts, raw materials and chemicals from international markets.
∎ Sourcing of capable supplier(s) ensuring effective procurement of quality materials with competitive price by way of effective negotiation and obtain management approval of each consignment.
∎ Deriving out total cost (landed cost) of each foreign procurement on the basis of involvement of duty, taxes etc. so that a comparison could be made if procured from local source.
∎ Maintain regular contacts with the supplier after opening of L/C for ensuring in time shipment of the consignments.
∎ Coordinate with concerned Department, C & F Agents and Transport Agency after arrival of the consignments at port for ensuring smooth delivery of the same to the concerned factory.
∎ Prepare deed of agreements in connection to a series of specific procurement covering a certain span of time or a future procurement towards protection of our interest.
∎ Formulate procurement plan for raw materials and chemicals for maintaining uninterrupted production in the factories.
∎ Maintain Data Base of procurement.
∎ Maintain liaison with expatriate consultants for rendering their services in respect of erection of plants, installation & commissioning of capital machinery and development of production process.
∎ Arrangement of payment of expatriate consultants through assessment of service delivery in line with Deed of Agreement.
∎ Follow-up and supervise of Banks related matters especially L/C opening, release of shipping documents and payment of import bills etc.
∎ Communicate with insurance company in relation with insurance claim, negotiation of price with international traders, assignment of expatriate consultant, initiating legal measures etc.
∎ Any other jobs related to foreign procurement.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 33 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate must have minimum 3 years work experience in similar position.
∎ Supply market analysis & negotiation skills.
∎ Proficient in SAP MM module is must.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
∎ Dynamic & Self-motivated with high personal integrity and loyalty.
∎ Able to work under pressure and handle multitasking activities.
∎ Standard computer proficiencies.
∎ Good persuasion & communication skills.
