Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the movement of Express & Internal Logistics vehicles as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
∎ Manage the movement of all types of Event, Demo, Road Show, and Customer Delivery vehicles while maintaining minimum costs.
∎ Oversee the movement of operational vehicles from various police stations and roadside locations as requested by the operating division.
∎ Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
∎ Coordinate and collaborate with sales and other concerned personnel related to vehicle movement.
∎ Negotiate with transport companies to minimize movement costs.
∎ Maintain a daily report on whether vehicles are reaching their designated destinations, such as showrooms, dealer points, or seizure yards. Ensure that vehicle inventory is properly tracked.
∎ Collect vehicle receiving copies along with daily movement inventory records.
∎ Resolve issues related to vehicle movements, such as road obstructions, police interventions, or other unforeseen problems, in a timely manner.
∎ Prepare and submit a daily report to the manager, detailing the number of vehicles moved, the number of cancellations, and the reasons for cancellations.
∎ Prepare a weekly report analyzing how many vehicle movement requests from Sales and Service were fulfilled compared to the target.
∎ Prepare and submit a monthly report summarizing the total number of successfully moved vehicles, unfulfilled movements with reasons for non-completion, and any accidents or incidents with percentage analysis.
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by Management.
∎ This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of vehicles across various operations, including express & internal logistics, customer deliveries, promotional events, and vehicle recoveries. This role demands a high level of coordination with multiple stakeholders, including sales, service, and transport vendors, to optimize costs and minimize delays.
