Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
∎ Have to able purchase Rice, Dal, Flour, Oil, Onion, Garlic, Corn etc.
∎ Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability.
∎ Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders.
∎ Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
∎ Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
∎ Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedule and quality.
∎ Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and maintaining good relationships with them.
∎ Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress - checking the quality of service provided.
∎ Job Context: Our organization requires a number of people who have experience in purchasing the following products: Rice, Dal, Flour, Oil, Onion, Garlic, Corn etc.
