Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Health and Safety
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare health, safety and environmental (HSE) management plans, review them on a regular basis and keep them up to date all the times.
∎ Advice and instruct project and main staff, contractors, consultants on various safety, health, social and environmental related matters related to project implementation.
∎ Raising awareness on health and safety issues among project staff, consultants, contractors.
∎ Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures on HSE.
∎ Initiate, organize and conduct HSE training for all department.
∎ Oversee installations, maintenance and disposal of substance, plant and equipment etc. to ensure they are done in conformity with applicable laws and industry best practice.
∎ Co-ordinate the development of HSE polices, systems, procedures are guidelines.
∎ Ensure full and accurate health and safety training records are documented.
∎ Provide regular report to the department head or relevant health and safety activities.
