∎ Minimum 15-20 years of experience in a leadership/management position.
∎ The applicants should have strong liaison with the policy makers and high govt. officials, local and foreign institutions, NGOs, INGOs and different development organizations.
∎ Former Govt. officials, preferably a retired Joint Secretary or above (Batch 1991-1997), and other applicants having proper relevant background, knowledge and experience in trade, business, economy and development issues of the country are encouraged to apply.
∎ Applicant with proven track records on management, administration, and research experience will get preference.
∎ Fluency in both oral and written English and computer literacy are required.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Applicant must have sound knowledge on the management of association, function of business chambers, fund generation and program implementation.
∎ Recommends yearly budget for approval of the Board of Directors and prudently manages organization’s resources within the approved budget in accordance with current laws and regulations.
∎ Oversees fund raising planning, implementation, and management including preparation and submittal of proposals.
∎ Oversees design, marketing and promotion, delivery and overall management of quality programs, products and services.
∎ Ability to supervise research team and research related activities.
∎ Applicant must have vibrant leadership quality to handle administration and human resources and maintain coordination between Govt. institution, directors and members of the organization, and other stakeholders.
∎ Build new partnerships to further the interest of IBFB.
∎ Serves as a secretary to the Board of Directors and standing committees of IBFB.
∎ Applicant must be able to work independently and take responsible executive decisions.
∎ International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB), a non-profit, non-partisan research and advocacy based organization of the business leaders, is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of Executive Director.

∎ Job Summary: The Executive Director (Part Time) will act as Chief Operating Officer to provide visionary leadership to the organization, actively promoting its mission and strategic goals. She/he will provide sound administration, management and financial sustainability to the organization, consistent with policies established by the Board of Directors.
