• Must have sound knowledge of computer applications and relevant software & good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Bangla.

• Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, hardworking, and possess strong initiative with the ability to work independently.

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Commercial (Import) functions in a reputed spinning mill is mandatory.

Job Context

We are a 100% export-oriented automated spinning mills, looking for a dynamic, energetic and analytic candidate for the post of “Executive (Commercial-Import)". The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of import documentation, LC operations, and coordination with banks, customs, and C&F agents.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and process commercial import documents, including bill of exchange, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Buyer’s Packing List, Truck Challan, Beneficiary Certificate, Shipping Bill, and other documents required for buyers, customs, banks, and relevant authorities.

• Liaise with banks regarding import-related activities, including loan sanction, renewal, repayment, L/C opening and amendment, document purchase, maturity payments, and collection.

• Have knowledge of import procedures for capital machinery, machinery commissioning, and spare parts used in the spinning industry.

• Have sound knowledge of HS Code classification, Customs Act, Import Policy Order, Export Policy, bonded warehouse formalities, insurance, and other applicable laws and regulations related to import and export.

• Coordinate with C&F agents to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery of imported goods.

• Analyze available L/Cs, stock positions, buyer requirements, and transportation capacity to prepare delivery schedules and ensure timely shipment within the stipulated period.

• Maintain proper records of import transactions, shipping documents, L/Cs, and related banking correspondence.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
