∎ · Previous experience in a Safety supervisory role within construction management, preferably in electrical infrastructure projects.· Have Safety courses (minimum OSHA complete)· Strong leadership and communication skills.

Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Duties and Responsibilities:
∎ Safety Management :
∎ Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations at the construction site. Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Provide safety training to construction workers and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
∎ Construction Oversight:
∎ Supervise all construction activities related to the substation, including site preparation, equipment assembly, and wiring. Monitor progress and ensure construction milestones are met according to schedule. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
∎ Team Leadership:
∎ Lead and motivate construction teams, including subcontractors, to achieve project goals and objectives. Delegate tasks effectively and guide to ensure work is completed efficiently and according to specifications. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and communication among construction personnel.
∎ Project Coordination:
∎ Collaborate with project managers, ESHS specialists, ESHS Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of safety activities with project objectives. Communicate project status, challenges, and milestones to stakeholders regularly. Identify and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise during the construction process to minimize disruptions.
∎ Documentation and Reporting:
∎ Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily progress reports, inspection records, and change orders. Compile documentation for regulatory approvals and permits required for Safety activities. Prepare regular reports summarizing construction progress, safety progress, and any issues encountered.
∎ Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements throughout the construction process. Implement measures to minimize environmental impact, such as proper waste management and erosion control.
