Job Context:
∎ Petromax Refinery Ltd (A sister concern of Youth group in BANGLADESH) would like to appoint an Engineer/Sr. Engineer (Mechanical) for its petroleum refinery plant situated at Mongla port industrial area, having a capacity of 2500 BPSD. The plant consists of atmospheric distillation, Naphtha Hydro treating unit (NHT), Catalytic reforming unit (CRU),
∎ Currently, the company is looking for a person in the mentioned position; -
∎ Job Location: 15 Mongla Port I/A, Bagerhat

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proper shift handover & takeover
∎ Checking the departmental daily work plan, distributing the plan, and starting the work group wise maintaining the 6s rule.
∎ Regular vigilance of the process plant, record keeping in the proper way, and necessary action if any anomaly is observed in mechanical equipment.
∎ Ensuring healthy condition of process centrifugal pumps (API 610). reciprocating pumps & other pumps through regular checkups and capable to do different maintenance work on those pumps.
∎ Keeping healthy condition of process compressor (API 618) through different parameter checking, performing major overhauling & schedule preventive maintenance.
∎ Operation of the water treatment plant & cooling water keeping the standard quality of cooling water. Also, keeping the WTP operative and healthy through required preventive and other maintenance works.
∎ Operation and maintenance of the boiler, H2 Generator, air compressor, shell & tube Heat Exchanger, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, and refinery process plant other mechanical equipment.
∎ Maintaining different mechanical equipment histories on specific log books, keeping up to date on soft copies for different schedule works, and submission of the different equipment reports in time.
∎ Analysis of root cause of any issue and proposing necessary modification for rectification.
∎ Maintained minimum effective stock of different mechanical equipment spares in cooperation with the SCM department.
∎ Any other job assigned by your supervisor/ Higher Authority

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ 3/4 years in a relevant field will be given preference.
∎ Technical Understanding,
∎ Equipment Maintenance and Safety Management;
∎ Attention to Details and Conceptual Skills;
∎ Supply Management and Facilities Management Systems.
