Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and Development: Collaborate with project teams to design electro-mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other machinery. Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for installation processes.
∎ Installation Oversight: Supervise on-site installation of electro-mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, codes, and safety standards. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to facilitate the timely completion of installations.
∎ Testing and Commissioning: Conduct testing of electro-mechanical systems to verify proper functionality, performance, and safety. Develop and implement commissioning plans for systems and equipment to ensure they meet operational requirements.
∎ Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor the performance of electro-mechanical systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Develop maintenance schedules and conduct routine inspections to ensure systems remain operational and efficient.
∎ Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all installations and systems comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards. Promote a culture of safety on-site, ensuring that all engineering practices prioritize worker safety and environmental considerations.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of engineering designs, installation processes, maintenance schedules, and inspections. Prepare reports on system performance and advise management on necessary modifications or upgrades.
∎ Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure project milestones are met. Provide technical support and guidance to field staff regarding electro-mechanical systems.
