Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control or Equivalent

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To strengthen the existing E&I team of the company. E&I support manager need to enhance the capability of all the member of the present E&I department so that they can handle the E&I related matter of the plant prudently, independently and as per international engineering practice.
∎ Develop the technical capability of existing Electrical and Instrumentation & Control Team of the plant.
∎ Leading, administrate and supervise all the staff of existing Electrical and Instrumentation & Control Team of the plant considering the HSE as top most priority.
∎ Provides technical support and maintenance expert opinion to Plant Manager for all electrical, instrumentation & control systems related equipment of the plant.
∎ Provide engineering solutions to upgrade E&I maintenance standard and achieve independence in troubleshooting & repair of E&I equipment & system.
∎ Review the existing yearly predictive and preventive maintenance plan for E&I Equipment and optimize the same and execute minor / Major Inspection of E&I system accordingly maintaining utmost quality and optimal cost.
∎ Responsible for selection and management of vendors and negotiations with contractors for quality & cost effectiveness.
∎ Review all SOPs of the electrical and instrumentation & control department of the plant and develop the new SOPs, if required.
∎ Develop and establish annual training plan for existing team and accordingly prepare training materials on electrical, Instrumentation and control system for intermediate and advance level and to develop E&I engineers of the plant accordingly. Train and develop trainers for E&I department
∎ Initiate & Implement value added improvements to increase efficiency of the power plant.
∎ Review the single point failure analysis report of the plant and prepare a strategic plan to reduce single point failure point.
∎ Optimize the use of SAP for Plant Maintenance (PM) and Material Management (MM) system.
∎ Preparation of annual budget and manage the budgets optimally for E&I department.
∎ Any other duties assigned by Plant Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 25 years' experience on E&I, in which minimum 8 years as I&C Manager.
∎ Good understanding and hands on experience with CCGT Electrical system such as generators, transformers, MV/LV system, UPS and VFDs and control system such DCS and PLC.
∎ Familiarization with world-renowned DCS system and PLCs. Work experienced on MHPS netmation, Emerson ovation, Siemens and Allen Bradly is preferable.
∎ Able to support certification activities like IMS, ISO, OHSAS etc.
∎ Hands on experience for critical equipment analysis, focusing strong commitment towards process improvement and personnel safety.
∎ Proven experience on OPC and Modbus Communication protocols
∎ Experience on common services of Combined cycle power plant such as Air/Gas compressors, Emergency/Black start Diesel Generators, fire-fighting system, CCTV system, gas regulation and metering system is preferable.
∎ Hands on experienced on protection relay coordination is desirable.
∎ Capable to perform trouble shooting and analysis exposure of various brands of Vibration monitoring system like NBEDA, SINKAWA etc.
∎ Knowledge of combined cycle power plant equipment, maintenance practices, design guidelines and operating standards.
∎ Experience in commissioning of a CCGT plant is an added advantage.
