∎ Masters/ Graduate in business administration or in any discipline from any Educational institution.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Plastic/ Polymer Industry

Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Head Office (Gulshan-02).
∎ Navana Engineering Limited (NEL) is one of the most advanced Plastics, uPVC Pipe & Fittings Manufacturing business in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Vast knowledge in import & Export, International business, Trading, Custom clearing & forwarding and understanding LC and its terms and conditions.
∎ Monitoring and managing L/C related work which includes corresponding with suppliers, Opening L/C and its amendment (if needed), Document retirement formalities, Customs Clearing and C&F Agents etc.
∎ Negotiate with Bank for preferential exchange rate for payment of deferred L/C on the maturity date.
∎ Checking the customs rules and VAT, duty, export, and import.
∎ Driving out total cost (landed cost) of each foreign procurement on the basis of involvement of duty, taxes etc. so that a comparison could be made if procured from the local source.
∎ Monitoring international payment through banks.
∎ Check all import/export documents required at different levels (e.g. Commercial invoice, Packing List, Delivery Challan /Truck Receipt, Technical Literature, Country of Origin, SAPTA certificate etc.).
∎ Maintain proper correspondents with supplier, factory, C&F and other concerned offices.
∎ Communicate with internal concern departments like Operation, Accounts and logistics to ensure proper coordination.
∎ Monthly payment schedule of UPASS, LTR, STL, TL preparation and monitoring.
∎ Coordinate to bank for L/C limit, working capital loan, time loan to smooth-up the operation.
∎ Prepare monthly import planning & budgeting.
∎ Coordinate with concern Department, C & F Agents and Transport Agency after the arrival of the consignments at the port for ensuring smooth delivery of the same to the concern factory.
∎ Communicate with the insurance company in relation to the insurance claim, negotiation of price with international traders, assignment of an expatriate consultant, initiating legal measures etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have excellent communication skill in both English & Bengal.
∎ Reporting and Analytical Capabilities.
∎ Conversant with ERP/ Oracle EBS software (in relevant module).
∎ Knowledge of MS office & Internet browsing.
∎ Must be a good strategic planner and implementer.
∎ Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
∎ Professional attitude towards job responsibility.
∎ Efficiently manage and meet deadlines.

Salary: Negotiable
