Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering
∎ BSc Engineering/Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Technical specification and budget preparation
∎ Prepare solicitation document for procurement of goods and services
∎ Collecting price quotations from vendors (Local and International).
∎ Hold necessary discussions with the vendors for the best price commensurate with the technical specification and other terms, like, delivery time of goods and services, payment terms, port of delivery, etc.
∎ Review and summarize price quotations for evaluation
∎ Prepare draft PR (Purchase Requisition), PO (Purchase Order), WO (Work Order) and Contracts for the award.
∎ Maintain computerized records procurement and purchase actions for quick and easy access to necessary information by sought at different times by relevant offices
∎ Respond to inquiries from different Department regarding requisitions, purchase orders, contracts and pricing information.
∎ Prepare periodical reports of procurement/purchase activities as will be directed by the management and keep management regularly informed of urgent and major procurements.
∎ Perform any other task as may be assigned by management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 4- 5 years for B.Sc. Engineer and 6-7 years for Diploma Engineer in the field of local and foreign purchase and procurement
