Overview
GovWork USA is seeking three (3) highly professional, disciplined, and linguistically proficient Executive Drivers to provide transportation support for U.S. Government personnel in Bangladesh. This role involves operating government-owned SUVs/pickups and requires a high level of discretion and safety awareness.
Key Requirements (Strictly Evaluated)
English Proficiency: You must have High Proficiency in English speaking and listening. You will be communicating directly with U.S. personnel daily; you must be able to understand complex directions and provide clear updates. (Language skills will be tested during the interview).
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of professional driving experience, preferably with a diplomatic mission, international NGO, or multinational corporation.
Licensing: Must possess a valid, clean Bangladesh Driving License (Medium/Heavy/SUV).
Vetting: Must be able to pass a rigorous background check and security screening by the U.S. Embassy.
Local Knowledge: Expert knowledge of Dhaka/Chattogram roads, government buildings, military cantonments, and the ability to use GPS/navigation apps fluently.
Core Responsibilities
Provide safe and reliable transportation for U.S. personnel in Dhaka and Chattogram.
Remain on-call 24/7 for mission-critical tasks or emergencies.
Perform daily vehicle safety checks, refueling, and ensure vehicles are kept in pristine condition.
Maintain accurate Daily Vehicle Use Records (DVUR) and mileage logs.
Coordinate via smartphone/WhatsApp for real-time location and schedule updates.
Undertake long-distance travel across Bangladesh (up to 15 days at a time) as required.
Physical & Professional Standards
Must pass a comprehensive medical physical exam every 2 years.
Must maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional attire.
Must demonstrate a client-oriented approach with courtesy, tact, and confidentiality.
