Responsibilities & Context:
Drives safely and defensively, anticipates hazards and plans and reacts appropriately. Maintains accurate records and log books, sees tasks through to completion. Provides courteous, prompt and professional service to client. Complete a mechanical checklist prior to each shift to ensure vehicle is in working order and ready to transport patients/clients to and from required locations, and report any mechanical issues to appropriate service personnel. Ensure vehicle is clean from inside and outside. Report accident or other emergency facts to medical personnel and/or law enforcement when necessary Complete appropriate trip sheets as required by employer to record officially each transport.
